Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, common testing tools/test case management tools, and processes.
- Knowledge on writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge on BLE testing and automation
- Knowledge on API testing and network communication technologies including HTTP and MQTT
- Strong quality and collaboration mindset with passion for delivering the best Smart Home product experiences
- A passion for IoT products and an affinity with Smart Home application domains like lighting and security
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Responsibilities
- Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing and release activities within an Agile development environment.
- Execute comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality of existing and new functionalities. Analyze test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse, global teams across multiple time zones. Work closely with App and Embedded Software teams to align testing efforts and support new feature development, hardware testing, and manual firmware and app testing.
- Document, investigate, and report defects discovered during testing and beta programs. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of automated test cases to increase efficiency and improve overall test coverage.
