Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role servicing investment banking clients or direct experience working within an investment banking environment.
- A strong understanding of investment banking workflows, terminology, and key functions (e.g., M&A, capital markets, trading).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with sophisticated clients.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a proven ability to take initiative and drive results.
- Comfort and confidence in conducting both virtual and in-person client meetings and training sessions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct warm calls to existing investment banking clients to introduce our product offerings and identify opportunities for training.
- Become a deep expert in our product suite and deliver engaging and effective training sessions (both virtual and in-person) to investment banking professionals, ensuring they maximize the value of our solutions.
- Travel to client locations to provide hands-on support, implementation guidance, and build strong rapport with key stakeholders. Willing to travel up to 20% of the time to client offices.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with investment banking clients, acting as their trusted advisor and point of contact.
- Understand client needs and workflows, providing valuable feedback to our product development team to ensure our solutions continue to meet the evolving demands of the investment banking industry.
- Partner closely with our sales team to support the sales cycle through product demonstrations, technical expertise, and client advocacy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and the specific challenges and opportunities within investment banking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within the investment banking community.
- Demonstrated success in a sales-support or client success role.
- Experience with financial technology platforms relevant to investment banking.
