Requirements
- Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
- 7+ years of hands-on mechanical industrial experience or 2-year technical school degree.
- Have basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, and mechanical aptitude.
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- Are able to maintain a work schedule of 8-hour shifts, with occasional flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
- Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the highest-level technical expert among hourly personnel in modeling, dimensioning, and troubleshooting.
- Lead the installation and implementation of engineering projects within the Maumelle Plant.
- Translate technical concepts into practical, tangible solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide engineering design support for new and existing systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, processes, and projects.
- Manage and support engineering projects from concept through execution and completion.
- Deliver technical training and mentorship to Operations, Engineering and Reliability teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all technical activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working with high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment.
- Working in an FDA regulated facility.
- Working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
