Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years leading engineering teams or technical programs.
- Proven ability to turn tribal knowledge into clear, usable, and well-maintained documentation.
- Deep understanding of SDLC frameworks (Agile, Kanban, CI/CD) and the ability to tailor them to team needs.
- Exceptional written communication skills—clear, concise, and correct.
- Experience running key cross-functional ceremonies such as RFCs, sprint planning, and incident reviews.
- Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence/Guru, GitHub Actions (or equivalents), and capable of automating workflows via scripts or webhooks.
Responsibilities
- Build, curate, and ruthlessly maintain living documentation for architecture, APIs, onboarding, runbooks, and post-mortems. No stale pages allowed.
- Define lightweight, scalable workflows across planning, code reviews, releases, and incident response. Audit for compliance and continuously improve.
- Lead RFCs, technical dependency reviews, and engineering steering meetings that uncover blockers and align stakeholders early.
- Own engineering workflow automation and integration tools. Publish KPIs such as onboarding time, pull request cycle time, and incident MTTR. Drive action from data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure, AI/ML, or high-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with developer experience tooling and productivity metrics.
- Background working in high-growth startup environments.
