Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must have at least 5+ years of related HR experience
- Must be able to meet government-specified requirements.
- Must have a strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, regulations, and best practices related to workplace equality.
- Must have leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Must be proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including processing payroll changes, managing HR systems, preparing reports, and ensuring the HR team’s accuracy and efficiency in these areas.
- Provide some oversight to the on-site HR team, through support, mentorship, and ensuring high standards in HR service delivery. Facilitate the On-Site onboarding and orientation process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying up to date with changes, advising management on necessary actions, and working closely with labor unions on compliance matters.
- Resolve labor issues in collaboration with Labor Relations and relevant departments, focusing on equitable solutions and fostering workplace equality.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, following established protocols and ensuring confidentiality.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related topics and empower the HR team to deliver consistent, quality support across departments.
