Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Current Independent Ohio counseling licensure or Equivalent LISW, LPCC, MFT (Marital and Family Therapist)
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving, presentation skills and program planning skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and organize data into actionable process improvements
  • Experience with health plan policies and medical terminology

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct clinical care for The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center’s qualified faculty and staff, as well as their dependents
  • Maintaining case load of clients and all clinical documentation and records in accordance with HIPPA and department practices
  • Participating in bi-weekly consultation with direct supervisor
  • Applying short term techniques such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for assisting members to move through the stages of behavioral change and reduce difficulties
  • Utilizing expanded clinical, conceptual, and practical knowledge to support clients experiencing mental health difficulties
  • Facilitating and advising clients in identifying opportunities for improvement and referring to resources to optimize their efforts
  • Effectively and efficiently documenting treatment plans and outcomes
  • Presenting programs related to substance use, mental health, and workplace issues
  • Delivering existing content virtually or in person to requesting employee groups
  • Responding to requests for services for individuals or groups presenting with personal or work-related issues
  • Assisting with the development and production of training content with guidance from senior team members
  • Demonstrating effective solution-finding, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills
  • Promoting teamwork
  • Exhibiting dependability in meeting desired program outcomes and target dates for reports
  • Managing scheduling, data input and follow-up processes for all workshops provided
  • Participating in facilitation of Critical Incident Response sessions
  • Counseling employees in identifying opportunities for improvement and referring to resources to optimize their efforts
  • Performing self-audits and quality monitoring to improve performance
  • Planning and participating in programming events to market OSU Health Plan programs
