Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain management, BE engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years Proven experience of ODM management, and commercial sourcing experience required supply chain, or vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in product transfer commercial management.
  • Understanding of BE Mfg process, demand planning and forecasting concepts.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cost tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manages new north America region supplier site contract development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Coordinate with MPM, SCM, PMT on all supply related issues to SSD build.
  • BOM related update and validation to ensure accuracy for BOM releases.
  • Weekly/daily coordination on forecast requirement.
  • Strategic planning on ODM requirement and future LT capacity/pricing model.
  • VMI enablement with current and potential future suppliers.
  • ODM pricing/MVA, special deals negotiation.
  • Develop, manage and refresh commodity sourcing strategies and roadmaps for ODM.
  • Drive supplier proposals and RFQs. Resolve all commercial queries arising from the quote process and formalize business awards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with ODM to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Manage ODM, Disti, Suppliers relationship to drive performance improvement and cost savings initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on value engineering projects that yield cost improvements.
  • Participate in cross functional teams to drive ODM rating processes, evaluating commercial performances based on predefined metrics and criteria.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities, or potential risks, BCP mitigation plan.
  • Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  • Data analysis: Analyzing BOM/MVA cost data, usage patterns, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
