Requirements
- Ph.D. or D.V.M. with research experience in bacteriology, animal physiology, or similar field
- U.S. Citizen
- Must pass NACI background check
- Must be willing to work in a BSL 3/4 laboratory
- Must be eligible to enroll in the BPRP and CS-PRP programs
Responsibilities
- Conducting and assisting in research on bacterial threats
- Performing laboratory experiments and data analysis
- Preparing scientific reports and publications
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Providing technical support for ongoing research projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in BSL-3 laboratories
- Ability to hold and maintain BPRP and CS-PRP status
- Proficiency in conducting laboratory experiments and data analysis
- Strong background in preparing scientific reports and publications
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory requirements
- Excellent technical support and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety standards
