Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in workers’ comp and leave administration
  • Solid knowledge of California leave laws, FMLA, ADA, and FEHA
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Professional, compassionate communication style
  • Experience with HRIS and leave tracking systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation claims from intake through closure
  • Administer FMLA, California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), and Paid Family Leave (PFL)
  • Oversee the ADA/FEHA interactive process, including medical review, documentation, and reasonable accommodations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees needing leave or workplace modifications
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, labor codes, and company policies
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with TPAs, managers, and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Certifications like CPDM, CLMS, or PHR are a plus
