Requirements
- Electrical or related Engineering degree
- 3+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience manufacturing PCBAs, SMT processes, SMT programming, in contract manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience with Juki SMT equipment and Koh Young inspection tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001
Responsibilities
- Support the PCBA group by resolving problems that arise in the SMT process including solder paste printing, pick and place, reflow, SPI, x-ray inspection, AOI, Automated Storage, de-panel, PCBA Wash, Ionic Tester and selective solder
- Job duties may also include machine operation, setup, training, and helping operators on machine operation and setup, and ensuring proper program performance and efficiency
- Assist in creating work Instructions as well as provide redlines and/or updates
- Assist in any new tool design required to support the PCBA group by developing tooling concepts
- Assist on the qualification of new SMT equipment and on the validation of new PCBAs
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, and disposition product that has failed

- Experience with Juki SMT equipment and Koh Young inspection tools is a plus
