Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent leadership experience)
  • Proven experience leading multi-unit retail or QSR operations
  • Must be geographically flexible for relocation during and after the training program
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 45% of the time, including travel outside of assigned geography

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Market Leaders, Area Leaders, and Store Leaders in executing daily store operations to deliver a consistent customer experience and maximize sales and profitability
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance on business strategy execution, systems implementation, and program delivery
  • Champion and drive transformation initiatives in alignment with 7-Eleven’s Mission, Vision, Strategy Map, and Leadership Principles
  • Collaborate with the Zone Vice President and senior leadership to develop, implement, and measure business plans and objectives
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor on operational issues and long-term planning
  • Establish and manage annual budgets with oversight from the VP of Operations
  • Build cross-functional relationships with the Store Support Center to align and execute key initiatives
  • Promote high performance by training, mentoring, and developing field leadership teams and Store Teams
  • Build a robust talent pipeline by recognizing and rewarding high performance, while coaching underperformers toward improvement or transition
  • Accelerate adoption of digital platforms including delivery, mobile checkout, loyalty programs, touchless pay, and other technology innovations
  • Ensure excellence in customer service and brand standards through focus on operational scorecards, including 7Clean, Customer Experience Visit (CEV), and other KPIs
  • Drive operational results in cleanliness, quality, safety, and customer experience to build brand loyalty and increase store traffic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in operational leadership and field execution preferred
  • Experience in merchandising, fuels, real estate, or corporate operations a plus
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and customer-facing technology initiatives is strongly preferred
