Requirements
- Be a graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program
- Have an active LPN or RN license in the state, in good standing
- Experience in Long-term Care
- Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing team members
- Have knowledge of DHS Regulations
- Possess superb interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaborate with team members and external constituents
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to our residents
- Support the Director of Nursing with assessments, admissions, and other duties as assigned
- Work with a team of professionals to ensure the residents comprehensive needs are met
- Review routines, calendar of events and resident needs
- Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted
- Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete
- Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age, our Culture of Excellence, in all areas of responsibility
- Other duties as assigned
