Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Eight (8) years of relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience required.
- Knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses.
- Subject matter expertise in several IQVIA offerings and their application to improve client business processes.
- Proven experience in identifying and closing new business opportunities and developing positive relationships at all levels of client management and within IQVIA sales, consulting, and marketing teams.
- Skills in Account Development, Analytical Thinking, Communication, Influencing Outcomes, Market Research, Marketplace and Industry Knowledge, Negotiation, Organization, Planning, Presentation, Problem Solving, Relationship Building, Servicing, Vision, and Direction.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and revenue targets for assigned suites of IQVIA Digital offerings through a consultative sales approach that addresses client business issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on these suites and their applications within client organizations.
- Collaborate with account teams to establish account planning strategies, target, and execute opportunities for assigned offerings.
- Interface with customers at all levels.
- Seek “starburst” opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue across the IQVIA Digital suite of offerings.
- Create and present client proposals that result in successful sales.
- Identify and manage resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities and solutions to customers.
- Monitor delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
- Gather market and client intelligence as part of the sales process and provide strategic feedback to Marketing, Consulting, Service, and Sales teams to strengthen offerings and capture additional business.
- Potential for leadership responsibility within the Sales organization, including direct management of a small team.
- Travel around 25% to client sites.
