Requirements
- 2-4 years of experiences in administrating Canada and US payroll
- Prior experiences setting up internal processes to ensure payroll and benefits are accurately delivered and compliant with state and federal regulations
- Experiences in project management to improve operational efficiency for payroll and benefits
- Meticulous attention to details
- Positive team player
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form (Mandarin is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Administrate full scope of payroll and benefits administration for the entire lifecycle of all exempt and non-exempt employees, including tax rate changes, life events, leave administration, benefit enrollment, garnishments, deductions, and investigate and resolve pay issues and end user testing for payroll system changes to ensure a seamless payroll process with minimal gaps and data errors
- Support payroll processing for U.S. (30%) and Canada (70%) including but not limited to, new hires, transfers, pay changes, separations, garnishments, deductions, etc, accurately into payroll systems
- Ensure data integrity and integration between benefit vendor sites and HRIS + payroll system
- Work closely with managers of nonexempt employees to ensure time cards are accurate and free from error
- Perform other payroll tasks and HR projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- ADP and WorkDay experiences preferred
