Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of health plan benefit designs
  • 3+ years regulatory experience in the health care compliance industry.
  • Experience with compliance, legislation regulations, and guidelines.
  • Ability to manage projects and influence staff with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Focus on managing master plan document, reviewing, and drafting Master Plan Language to meet compliance
  • Monitor regulatory developments and potential impact of regulations impacting self-funded health plan administration.
  • Run reports to determine when language changes are needed based on current benefit designs.
  • Review mandates and determine relevance to self-funded health plans.
  • Present and coordinate information cross-functionally to ensure operational success when plan language is drafted or changed.
  • Monitor customized drafting needs to identify trends.
  • Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of self-funded health plans and Third-Party Administrators.
