Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of health plan benefit designs
- 3+ years regulatory experience in the health care compliance industry.
- Experience with compliance, legislation regulations, and guidelines.
- Ability to manage projects and influence staff with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and written skills
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Focus on managing master plan document, reviewing, and drafting Master Plan Language to meet compliance
- Monitor regulatory developments and potential impact of regulations impacting self-funded health plan administration.
- Run reports to determine when language changes are needed based on current benefit designs.
- Review mandates and determine relevance to self-funded health plans.
- Present and coordinate information cross-functionally to ensure operational success when plan language is drafted or changed.
- Monitor customized drafting needs to identify trends.
- Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of self-funded health plans and Third-Party Administrators.
