Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Ten (10) years of Capital Project Execution in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Manage a staff of project engineers located at plants throughout the US to drive growth, productivity, EHS, and renewal capital investments.
- Responsible for value/opportunity identification, project execution, plant operating committee leadership, and support of annual capital planning.
- Develop and maintain the technical competency and project management skills of the group.
- Provide leadership to 3M Engineering through engineering sponsored committees and technical organizations.
- Develop and implement facility and equipment renewal plans in partnership with external and internal partners.
- Provide leadership, development, and coaching to execute projects on time (rapid execution), within budget (cost effective solutions), and with predictable spend accuracy.
- Execute strategic and operational plans for the engineering group and support execution of similar plans for their assigned production plants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of Capital Engineering Leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include: Communication, Planning, Leadership, Strategy, Prioritization, Project Execution
