Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of marketing-related experience required.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Experience with graphic design and/or email marketing programs, such as Constant Contact, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Leads marketing initiatives including branding updates for the venue, target market e-blasts, website monitoring and revisions, social media management, and promotional updates.
- Partner with the Director of Sales to develop social media initiatives of the venue, including the development of new social media profiles.
- Assists in content development and planning, driving branded marketing and reporting analytical data.
- Assists in planning, development, and management of annual communications calendars to improve internal and external venue communications.
- Utilize Adobe programs to design, edit, and create content both in digital and print.
- Assists in designing advertising and promotional materials used to promote the facility and drive sales.
- Assists all venue Directors with the development and implementation of marketing additional business opportunities, such as sponsorships, entitlements, and internal events to drive additional revenue streams.
- Manages the needs of promoters regarding pre-show, on-site and follow-up entertainment event tasks to drive the success of theatre shows.
- Partners with the Director of Sales to develop Venue Sales and Marketing Plan.
- Carries out marketing activities according to the objectives outlined in the specified sales and marketing plan.
- Reports on marketing functions as required to aid in retargeting departmental goals.
- Partners with General Manager to identify professional goals and opportunities for professional development.
- Limited travel as necessary for professional development related to venue marketing services.
