Requirements
- An associate’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field with at least 15 years of relevant management experience; or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields with a minimum of 8 years of relevant management experience; or a master’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant management experience.
- A minimum of 12 years of total experience in ammunition supply or DEMIL operations.
- Within the last 10 years, at least 6 years must include direct supervision of 100 or more personnel in installation operations or facility management.
- Within four months of hire, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the use of maintenance management and property accountability systems through consistent day-to-day performance.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at senior levels within a customer organization, including leading stakeholder meetings to develop, review, and execute task plans and deliverables.
- Experience delivering professional briefings to senior customer leadership, stakeholder groups, and company executives.
- Demonstrated application of project management principles, with knowledge of industry best practices such as those outlined in the PMBOK.
- Must have a record of progressively responsible experience managing projects or programs, including profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
- At least 4 years of recent experience serving as a contractor program or project manager on large Department of Defense (DoD) programs with a total value exceeding $150 million.
Responsibilities
- Support the PM’s efforts to maintain a positive organizational climate with the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Plan, execute, monitor and control personnel and financial resources.
- Ensure that all required actions are adequately planned and that all projects and tasks under the contract run within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Manage multiple teams led by subordinate managers and/or supervisors, including subcontractor personnel.
- Develops program status reports.
- Interface with senior Government personnel, technical and non-technical staff, subcontractors, and support personnel.
- Support process improvement and innovation.
- As delegated by the Program Manager, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within the HWAD program, in accordance with Leidos policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI PMP Certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management.
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.
- Prior US Army Materiel Command experience, ideally within the Joint Munitions Command.
