Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience, or 6 years of experience with a Master’s degree; 4 years of experience with PHD
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience performing CAD modeling with design tools such as Siemens NX or similar
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools – Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Experience working in with geographically distributed teams

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be a subject matter expert in Common Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) to resolve user issues
  • Triage and prioritize impact of user issues
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user issues when possible
  • Elevate user issues when needed
  • Follow user support workflow
  • Learn program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct PLM usage
  • Work closely with program user community
  • Act as a liaison across multiple engineering disciplines across multiple programs
  • Identify potential gap in processes
  • Identify repeat and common user issues for training opportunities
  • Perform tool testing
  • Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation in the form of job aids
  • Candidate will bring a strong ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions
  • Candidate will professionally represent the Strategic Deterrent Systems and Sentinel organizations while interacting with internal and external contacts including suppliers, senior personnel and executive leadership on matters requiring coordination between organizations and sectors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a ticketing workflow systems (Service Now)
  • Experience with Siemens Capital & Xpedition
  • Experience with CAE analysis tools
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management
  • Experience in defense system/subsystem product design
  • Experience with Systems Engineering tools (CAMEO/DOORS) and architecture
  • Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX
  • Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM
  • Proficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009
  • Experience working with specialty engineering stakeholders (PM&P, Safety, Human Factors, others)
  • Experience leading a team of engineers or project(s)
  • Hands on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, and measuring tools
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written; and ability to read and understand technical requirements documents
