Requirements
- experience working in wealth management, private banking or asset management
- strong knowledge of global financial markets, and a willingness to express your views
- working knowledge of multi-asset class portfolio construction
- ability to articulate research and implement in a portfolio context
- bachelor’s degree required
- minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services industry
Responsibilities
- work in support of a senior portfolio strategist to deliver customized portfolio construction advice to financial advisors and their ultra-high net worth clients/prospects
- conduct in-depth portfolio analysis at the asset allocation and investment level
- produce bespoke presentations that outline our research, capabilities and views on asset allocation, portfolio construction and product fulfillment
- develop fluency in all aspects of portfolio construction and effectively use all asset classes necessary to implement both strategic and tactical asset allocations
- develop key partnerships throughout the firm to cultivate extensive knowledge of platforms and product offerings (both traditional and non-traditional)
- contribute to the production of original investment content for internal and external distribution
- collaborate with key partner groups such as alternative investments, advanced planning, philanthropy, banking, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- desire to be client-facing and demonstrated experience with clients preferred
- series 7 and 66 licenses strongly preferred
- an interest in pursuing the CFA, CFP, or CAIA tracks, or equivalent knowledge
