Requirements
- Two years of professional analytical experience, including administering contracts and maintaining budgets for construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Generate and provide regular project update reports for FMD leadership and user department stakeholders
- Create reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Oracle Unifier to provide actionable insights
- Automate data and document management processes to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy
- Provide training and support to staff on new systems, processes, and tools
- Manage, update, and maintain FMD’s project management system(s)
- Perform extensive professional-level research, analysis, planning, development, and implementation of departmental operational, administrative, and special projects
- Ensure proper records retention and management in compliance with county regulations
- Analyzing, developing, and refining business processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with county policies and regulations
- Act as a liaison between the department and technology teams to support system integration and troubleshoot issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Management degree and/or previous construction administration experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Oracle Unifier (or similar project management Information software), Microsoft Power Suite and Advanced Excel skills
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools
- Experience in records management with retention policies and document handling best practices
