Requirements

  • 8 years of experience with Aeroderivative (or similar) power generation products or services.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
  • Prior experience managing / directing individual contributors.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time for Customer and Operations visits/meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the Aeroderivative Services OTR team for US West & Canada, responsible for execution of services for customer fleet, customer issue resolution, and responsible for P&L within sub-region.
  • People management and development along with talent pipeline growth are key responsibilities, with ability to attract and retain talent.
  • Responsible for risk management and deal underwriting in the ITR structure and in engaging holistically as a member of the Americas Aero Services ITR resources.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Must continually improve using key daily-management KPIs as well as external VOC to navigate organization and business through market changes.
  • Developing expertise in own function. May include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership.
  • Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques.
  • Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
  • Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategic executive level communicator.
  • Prior experience in Aero or HD gas turbine OTR operations.
  • Strong Product knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
