Senior Data Analyst

Bachelor degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
Five (5) years of experience in data analysis and visualization, building dynamic, interactive dashboards, and working with relational databases.
Ability to use SAS, R, or Python to run multivariate and other statistical analyses.
Ability to create data dashboards and visuals using a tool like Tableau.
Ability to create datasets for analysis & reporting using SQL, Python, R, or Scala.

Build, develop, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
Utilize strong analytical and product management skills to gain a thorough understanding of department technology needs and translate these into specific initiatives and short- and long-range plans.
Analyzes and interprets diverse sets using a variety of statistical methods.
Uses various data analytics tools to clean, manipulate, and transform data for analysis.
Reports, explains, and presents statistical analyses using graphs, charts, and tables.
Uses understanding of data collection to design and implement new methods of measurement.
Stays informed of emerging trends in data science. Clearly communicates with users to assess needs and requirements for data products.
Designs and maintains visualization dashboards.
Pitches value of potential data products using functioning proofs-of-concept.
Works across academic colleges and programs to provide valuable data-informed insights on trends of performance metrics.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
