Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Experience working in Agile
- Advanced knowledge of data stewardship / data management and enterprise, standards, procedures, processes and technologies
- Demonstrated experience in data issue management, data management controls, or data retention and disposition including related compliance requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of requirement, design, configuration, integration, and implementation of data management platforms (e.g. Collibra), configurable workflow platforms (e.g. ServiceNow), governance platforms (e.g. Archer), and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the financial services industry, risk management, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance and the data and modelling that support all of it.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of requirements in alignment with standards, procedures, and guidelines for enterprise data management
- Provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with various partners and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage functional and non-functional requirements
- Leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to have a thorough understanding of enterprise data management, products to enable effective management and governance of data, and the strategic vision
- Identify, document, and validate current state technology capabilities/ecosystem and support stakeholders to design the desired future state
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing procedures, processes, systems, and data, and how to manage the integration
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications taking into account non-functional requirements
- Own and manage the traceability of requirements through design and development, testing, and deployment; ensure the acceptance criteria demonstrates the changes to systems that will meet stakeholder expectations
- Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing
- Provides support/oversight and guidance in the delivery of technology requirements with focus on quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation
- Promote innovation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward-thinking ideas as well as critical thinking to find opportunities for improvement
- Provide various operational / process / data-related analysis
Preferred Qualifications
