Requirements
- Six years of supervision, management, or progressively-related experience
- OR three years of progressively-related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Currently credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor – II (CADC-II) with the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO)
- Expertise in evidence-based practices for the treatment of substance use disorders
- In-depth understanding of gender-inclusive and trauma-informed practices
- Ability to supervise the treatment of individuals with substance use disorders inside a prison setting
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of gender-responsive substance use disorder programming
- Program management, development and/or implementation of policy and procedures
- Staff supervision, including assigning work, developing work procedures, establishing work schedules, monitoring performance, and evaluating work
- Conduct staff meetings and training
- Deliver clinical services and evaluate clinical services
- Outcomes tracking and reporting
- Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the chronic disease approach to substance use disorder treatment
- Experience working with Certified Recovery Mentors, Peer Support Specialists, or other peer-recovery-based approaches
