Requirements
- Associate degree and/or coursework towards a BS degree in business or another related field.
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, professional certification, formalized training, or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
- Four years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving communications systems maintenance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a valid state Motor Vehicle Drivers’ License.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Applicants must be able to pass an FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.
- Must be able to obtain a work visa and an Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the performance of all maintenance administration and management functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL Organic equipment implementing the following:
- Advise, support, and assist maintenance personnel to ensure a systematic approach to maintenance operations of ground equipment.
- Record, maintain, and document maintenance actions, requirements, and equipment repair statuses in accordance with maintenance management policy, publications, programs, and procedures.
- Utilize a maintenance information system (GCSS-MC) to perform maintenance administration and analyze and correct non-conformities, perform technical research, requisitioning, and issue of equipment supplies.
- Provide management-level reports in the areas of production management, equipment lifecycle management, and equipment readiness.
- Manage the following programs: MDSS II, PQDR, Calibrations, Modifications, Quality, Safety, CPAC, Publication Control, warranty, Tool Control, and Deferred Maintenance Programs, including system troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Comply with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Comply with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment parts/components.
- Maintain MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with such.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- USMC MOS 0411.
- Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.
- Industry Certification.
- Automation and Scripting.
- Working knowledge of military storage procedures.
- Expert knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
