Requirements
- 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
- At least 5 years of prior management experience
- Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility
- University/college degree
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
Responsibilities
- Leads the development and execution of all communications strategies to advance the strategic direction of the unit
- Establishes and leads overall communication strategies; oversees the planning, research, and development of content for complex communication initiatives
- Develops and maintains client relationships with executives and all levels of management, providing counsel on all aspects of communications
- Engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message
- Provides final review and approval before internal or external communications are released to the assigned line of business
- Leads teams, coaches, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate
