Requirements

  • 8-10 years’ experience in financial services with experience servicing high net worth (HNW) individuals, families, and their advisors
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • JD, CFA and/or CFP designations a plus
  • Proven sales success servicing HNW individuals and institutions
  • Experience selling directed trust, estate settlement and custody a plus
  • Experience in marketing traditional and sophisticated financial products
  • Knowledge of various asset classes and investment management styles, asset allocation techniques, investment products, family office, OCIO and trust & estate management tools
  • Highly motivated and self-starter capable of initiating and cultivating new client relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, for effective technical and interpersonal interaction with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Pursue prospective new business situations with high net worth (HNW) individuals and families
  • Lead segment new business strategies for the South Florida market
  • Maintain active contact with known referral source relationships and prospective clients
  • Maintain contact with existing clients to identify where additional opportunities may exist for the firm to market its services
  • Coordinate presentations of the firm’s capabilities to prospective clients and their advisors (e.g. lawyers, accountants, consultants)
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of prospect presentations and on-going marketing material
  • Participate in the development of new ideas, planning and execution of HNW business development issues with senior management
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, and other gatherings attended by existing and potential referral sources and prospective clients
  • Manage new clients from prospecting stage to onboarding
