Requirements
- Master’s degree
- B.S. Pharm or PharmD
- Current licensure as a registered pharmacist by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy, or eligibility to become licensed within 60 days of employment start date
- 3 – 5 years of job-related experience
- Managerial skills necessary to plan, organize, direct and control the pharmacy operational activities
- Ability to work in a complex team environment and to collaborate with both external and internal professionals and other customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills – word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint®, drug databases
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Manage all outpatient pharmacy infusion services including USP compliance, staff management, operational workflows, medication assistance, and prior authorization, and investigational drug services
- Collaborate with the pharmacy leadership/management team under the direction of the System Vice President of Pharmacy Services, System Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services and Regional and Senior Pharmacy Managers
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business, or other relevant subject area
- Board certification in Sterile Compounding through Board of Pharmacy Specialists (BPS), preferred
- Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency in health system pharmacy administration and leadership or equivalent work experience
