Mechanical Repair Technician I

Requirements

• HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Move items between storage locations, staging areas, and production lines in an efficient and timely manner to support continuous production.
• Assist in keeping work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed to prevent any production delays.
• Effectively communicate with team members to ensure materials are readily available and meet production demands.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, following written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Lift and move heavy objects as required to maintain workflow.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues related to inventory and material handling.
• Manage time efficiently to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in organizing inventory, materials, and equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
