Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years in SEO or related position either with an agency or for a single brand
  • Strong experience in content development & strategy (keyword research, competitor analysis, internal linking)
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics
  • Willingness to utilize new technology and understanding of basic AI capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Support measurement and optimization of SEO strategy for a new project
  • Execute on SEO strategies tailored to project growth
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify content gaps and new opportunities
  • Work with SEO developers to create and implements tools and calculators
  • Find, test and measure results for new SEO technologies and strategies
  • Understand and use basic marketing principals in strategies
  • Understand and use technical website principals
  • Understand and use industry standard SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog)
  • Understand how CRO and CX are crucial parts to SEO success
  • Partner with data science team to create data-driven content
  • Implement and manage an internal linking strategy to boost page authority and improve user navigation
  • Experiment with new content formats (e.g., videos, infographics, tools) to drive organic growth
  • Stay updated on content marketing and SEO trends, including algorithm updates, to adjust strategies proactively
  • Work closely with the SEO team, marketing, and content creators to ensure all materials align with SEO goals and brand voice
  • Track content performance metrics (e.g., organic traffic, click-through rates, and engagement) and provide actionable insights to improve results
  • Develop, edit, and optimize content for blogs, product pages, and category pages to ensure it aligns with SEO best practices
  • Research and incorporate target keywords naturally into content to improve rankings and search visibility
  • Create compelling meta titles, descriptions, and header tags for optimized on-page performance.
