Requirements

  • Five years of experience in gathering business requirements, analyzing, and creating data specification documents
  • Proven expertise in using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and Collibra Data Quality tools
  • Four years of experience with Collibra Data Governance tools (Collibra DIP/DQ Tools)
  • Ability to work closely with analysts and data stewards across the organization to enhance data quality and standardization efforts
  • Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive data governance structures within Collibra
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, cross-group coordination, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, information management or related field

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of a data governance roadmap by championing the adoption of key capabilities
  • Work with lines of business to identify and solve data integrity and quality issues
  • Design and recommend data quality issue remediation and escalation processes
  • Develop, monitor and analyze data governance metrics to establish base lines and measure success
  • Explore innovative tools and technology, evaluate new systems and keep up with industry trends
  • Create data governance training content derived from industry best practices
  • Understand business processes and pain points to lead the definition of data requirements
  • Design, deploy, and configure workflows, approvals, and notifications within Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud
  • Manage and maintain the data catalog, including data lineage, data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata management
  • Oversee data quality initiatives, defining data quality rules, monitoring data quality metrics, and implementing data quality improvement processes
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as HIPPA, GDPR, CCPA, and others
  • Explore diverse perspectives and consistently behave sensitively toward differences in cultural norms
