Requirements
- Enrollment in college mechatronics (or equivalent) programs required
- Possess or currently pursuing a degree in an Mechatronics or equivalent field required
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks in the summer
- Must be willing to work in any of our Columbus manufacturing locations
Responsibilities
- Provide support in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Work with a mentor on project assignments which are commensurate with academic background
- Work with a mentor on project assignments outside of classroom curriculum to gain experience
- Apply classroom knowledge to real life applications while using technical expertise
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Motivated to learn about a high speed automated manufacturing floor
- PLC, Servo, and Vision Programming (Allen Bradley Brand experience preferred)
- Fabrication, automation, & industrial experience preferred
