Requirements
- 6+ years of experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing in DoD space systems
- Experience performing systems engineering for the micro-electronics development team
- Experience in requirements document development
- Experience with Risk processes and Risk Management
- Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently while demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities
- Assist the government as the Lead Systems Engineer
- Ensure the ASIC and receiver card are integrated successfully to meet users’ needs
- Provide direct support to the chief engineer
- Manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with military MGUE systems
- 5+ years of experience with space acquisition
- Experience with Aviation Receiver Cards
- Experience with ASICS and FPGAs
- Experience working with new technology programs for embedded systems
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
