Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with FinSys systems
- 2+ years of full-stack software development experience
- 2+ years experience with as a software developer using object-oriented languages like Java, PHP or Python
- 2+ years of professional experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases (non-relational database experience is a bonus)
- Some experience with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency working with RESTful APIs and data handling
- An API-first approach, loosely coupled systems, and domain driven design
- A pride in code quality and approaches towards testing
- Demonstrable experience working with legacy code, embracing sound judgment in system optimization
- A track record for building high-quality, maintainable, testable, and scalable software
- Demonstrated affinity in pragmatically designing, building and deploying scalable, highly-available systems
- An ability to think abstractly and are comfortable with ambiguous/undefined problems
- Excellent communication skills: you understand user needs and are excited to translate them into actionable pieces of work
- An attitude of leaving code/processes/people better than when you got there
- A belief that companies should be socially responsible
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the innovative platform
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Key Partners to ensure the Financial Platform offers a best-in-class user experience
- Help advance the Financial Engine that enables companies to engage their employees and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Non-relational database experience is a bonus
