Requirements
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite 365.
- Able to efficiently use the latest reporting, analysis, and communication technology.
- Requires a HS diploma (BA/BS preferred).
- At least two (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Knowledge of leading best practices in the analysis, development, and execution of training efforts; strong communication and organizational skills; experience supporting workshops, seminars, and other training efforts.
- Familiar with the PADDIE+M approach used by the Navy.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Requires 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Advanced familiarity with conducting analysis of data and analytics initiatives (as applied to a large and complex Navy capability-development programs, such as TSUB) with a focus on the role of training development.
- Experience developing custom curriculum for DoD/government programs, including for classroom, computer-based-instruction, video recording, and distance learning, etc.
- Master’s degree or PhD required.
- Requires 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Expertise in overseeing organizational analysis to support the identification of training deficiencies, particularly with regard for assessing workforce skillsets and enabling their development and utilization for advanced mission support.
- Extensive experience designing training programs and providing recommendations for training initiatives to government stakeholders.
- Experience implementing the PADDIE+M approach used by the Navy.
Responsibilities
- Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
- Develops all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
- Develops all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
- Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer aided training.
