Responsibilities
- Utilizes various hand tools, measuring devices and small machinery for belting, polishing, blasting, measuring, masking, cleaning, and inspecting product.
- Works from written work instructions, blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Application of abrasive finish to machined and forged components.
- Application of masking tapes and fixturing to forgings and machined components.
- Checks and inspects work with precision instruments.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement efforts.
- Promptly and accurately completes all required recordkeeping.
- Keeps surrounding area clean, safe, and organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Experience in medical device manufacturing, or an ISO manufacturing environment
