Requirements

  • Hold an MD degree, and must hold, or be eligible for, licensure in the province of Quebec
  • Be certified by the Royal College (FRCPC) in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Have completed subspecialty training in Breast Imaging in North America
  • Be eligible for a license to practise medicine from the Collège des médecins du Québec
  • Having an additional 6-month specialty training in ENT (3 months) or cardiac imaging (3 months) will be considered an asset
  • Bilingual language skills (French or English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Be involved in the academic activities of the McGill University Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Division of Diagnostic Imaging
  • Be responsible for clinical, teaching, and research activities within the department
  • Interpret a diverse array of radiological examinations, including plain radiography, US, mammography, CT, and MRI exams
  • Participate in diagnostic evening shifts and on-call duties
  • Participate in tumor boards on a rotational basis
  • Be actively involved in all aspects of McGill’s academic mission (i.e., research, teaching, supervision of students and residents, and involvement in academic and administrative committees)
  • Contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications
