Job Description

Title: Legal/Administrative Assistant

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Location: Oklahoma City, OK                        

Position Summary

The Criminal Justice Division of the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant located in our Oklahoma City office.  Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing case filings
  • Managing and organizing investigative case files and discovery for litigation
  • Data entry and distribution of mail
  • Organizing, managing, and maintaining digital and hard copy filing systems
  • Supporting Attorneys and Agents with administrative functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Applicants must possess excellent communication and computer skills.  Applicants must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; excellent spelling and grammar skills; and be proficient with computer software applications such as Excel, Word and Microsoft Office Suite.  Applicants with experience in criminal law and assisting in the preparation of pleadings, briefs, exhibits, correspondence, discovery, and other court filings are preferred but not required.
