Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) with relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
- Minimum 10+ years experience in senior People leadership roles, ideally in high-growth and/or fintech companies that are preparing for or have recently gone public.
- Strong track record in scaling people operations, managing complex organizational changes, and aligning people strategy with business objectives.
- Experience managing a professional HR team, driving organizational success and is adept at developing and enhancing team members’ skill sets.
- Experience rolling out and managing talent management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives, managers, and employees across all levels.
- Experience with the IPO process or navigating companies through major transitions.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, people analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and create a culture of high performance, transparency, and inclusivity.
- A strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Business Officer and executive team on all people-related matters.
- Drive the development and execution of a forward-thinking people strategy that supports the company’s business goals, including talent acquisition, leadership development, employee retention, and organizational design.
- Leverage data and people analytics to inform key people decisions, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to align with company goals.
- Lead change management efforts related to organizational growth, structure changes, and other strategic initiatives as the company matures.
- Be a hands-on leader who not only sets the strategic direction but also actively leads the execution and roll-out of people initiatives across the organization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives and monitor their effectiveness, iterating as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts to ensure the company attracts top-tier talent across all functions.
- Develop a comprehensive L&D strategy that supports both short-term business objectives and long-term growth, ensuring the company’s workforce is continuously evolving with new skills.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and performance, especially during periods of change and transformation.
- Drive the development of DEI programs and initiatives across the company to ensure an equitable experience for all employees.
- Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while aligning with business goals and fiscal responsibility.
