Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Master’s degree from an accredited university with 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have U.S. Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- A minimum of 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- Prior experience with DOD contracts or subcontracts and a variety of contract types including Cost Reimbursement, Fixed Price, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience with the FAR and DFARS.
- Must have experience conducting presentations to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professional subcontract administrators and a multi-million dollar major subcontract supporting the program.
- Partner with critical Program Leadership to execute Subcontracts and drive results with a high degree of accountability and ownership.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to cross functional teams.
- Facilitate end-to-end subcontract management by supporting subcontract specification development, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
- Prepare request for proposals, conduct bidders conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
- Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
- Partner closely with Business Management and the Program team to develop and implement strategies.
- Review and provide feedback on customer RFIs, draft RFPs, and RFPs.
- Guide the program on the implications of model contract terms and conditions.
- Facilitate the proposal review process and ensure internal reviews are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Program team to create briefings for internal reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a contracts/subcontracts manager leading a team of contracts/subcontracts professionals.
- Prior experience managing multiple contracts/subcontracts simultaneously requiring extensive organizational skills.
- Experience working restricted programs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills and computer skills.
