Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- 8+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries for Sr Manager level
- 7+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries for Manager level
- Experience in procurement, including Pharma/BioPharma
- Experience leading category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations
- Negotiation skills for contract terms and conditions
- Knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry
Responsibilities
- Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global Packaging Category strategy
- Works closely with partners to manage discussions related to the Packaging Categories
- Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the Packaging Category
- Drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities
- Participate in organizational decisions in the Packaging categories with critical short and long-term impact
- Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)
- Coaches proficiency on procurement technical skills among global procurement team
