Requirements
- 2 years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare
- Enrollment in a Master’s Program and completion within 2 years
- Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana
- American Heart Association, BLS-HCP
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategic, financial, clinical and operational goals of the designated department
- Oversee and ensure effective operations, activities, programming and services of the department
- Ensure effective coordination of the delivery of clinical care in collaboration with designated medical leadership
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to support the highest quality of patient care
- Ensure compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements and pursue the organization’s quality goals
