Requirements
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ Years of Engineering in FMCG / foods / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment
- Project Management, maintenance, and/or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; along with the ability to negotiate.
- First-hand experience delivering major capital projects ($2+ million) within Unilever or similar fast-moving consumer goods or foods manufacturing environment from cradle to grave.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects with a strong focus on safety, product quality, project timing, and cost efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate both full-time staff and hired contractors to successfully execute projects.
- Lead the portfolio of projects and trials at the Rexdale site, ensuring seamless execution and innovation.
- Act as the key liaison to external teams, including R&D, brand, procurement, and suppliers, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Apply your skills in Dressing Process and Packaging Engineering to drive world-class manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide Unilever with top-tier capability to launch and manufacture Dressing products, setting new standards in the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Lean manufacturing, and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.
