Requirements
- BA or BS degree in related field
- 7 Years of knowledge management, web development or related area with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Required 8140 Cert: 431 – Intermediate; Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training or obtained within 6 months
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and practices
- Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities
- Performs knowledge management functions as directed by the Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) Office (KIMO)
- Manages KM strategy and outlines a plan for managing and sharing information and knowledge within the organization
- Manages a KM system that allows for the storage, retrieval, and sharing of information and knowledge
- Provides user support services for training materials (i.e., Smart Cards, briefs) and events (i.e., Newcomers, Sr. Leaders Onboarding, Working Group meetings)
- Educates staff on use of the knowledge management system and strategies, new tools, and/or new technologies
- Assists with content management, building groups, and developing/modifying workflows
- Responds to emerging process improvement requirements to improve unforeseen process shortfalls or problems
- Designs web content using commercial best practices
- Supports technical information papers, studies, technical reports, and briefings for projects, activities, or issues that may affect operations
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
