Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Strong Ability to read electrical circuits and schematics, navigate PCB layouts, and understand manufacturer’s product data sheets.
  • Proficiency with industrial buses and communication protocols (USB, VISA, GPIB, Ethernet, Serial, RS-485, SPI, I2C, etc).
  • Experience with automation instrumentation such as programmable power supplies, multiplexers, DMMs, signal analyzers, signal generators, multifunction devices (digital and analog).
  • Development experience in C, C++, or python programming.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and build automated test platforms to best validate Mach’s software.
  • Develop software that allows for test execution across multiple environments: hardware-in-the-loop (HITL, HIL) and virtualized hardware simulations.
  • Implement vertical test solutions for design characterization, validation, and manufacturing.
  • Own the technical aspects of one or more test automation projects, from requirements gathering to successful deployment and maintenance.
  • Invent tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis.
  • Develop custom test sequences in Python and Labview following software engineering best practices.
  • Create well documented test cases and operating procedures for test systems.
  • Work closely with developers to provide a reliable, fact, accurate and easy-to-use integrated test platform.
  • Hands-on integration and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Labview and Python for developing custom test sequences.
  • Experience with RF measurements and equipment including Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Network Analyzers.
  • Knowledge of Custom PCBA design for test systems.
  • Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and embedded systems.
  • Experience managing software repositories and version control.
