Requirements
- Must have a HS Diploma/GED or equivalent with 4 years experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Support of daily operations and upkeep of both monitoring and remedial wells used to provide data
- 24/7 on call support of system shutdowns/alarms via both remote and on-site action
- Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC support at all of our remedial sites across Bethpage
- Vendor surveillance, soul source justifications, safety certifications to ensure we are compliant
- Calibration of various system critical instrumentation used to report data to the state (over 100 items)
- Steam boiler maintenance (blow downs, water softener system treatment, daily readings, etc.)
- Support of contractor certifications to operate the boilers with reports that are also sent to the state office
- In place calibrations where necessary to minimize system downtime
- Process improvement engineering, system design support, & system integration
- Weekly system critical bag filter changes (iron buildup), pump and blower maintenance, software programming
- Contractor management (from inception to completion)
