Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
- PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide hardware design support to customers to enable efficient high quality product launches
- Research and answer a wide range of in-depth technical questions on Qualcomm SoC and its associated peripherals and IOs (e.g., LP5, UFS, USB, PCIe, CSI, DSI, DP, Ethernet)
- Resolve technical problems via hands-on trouble shooting.
- Perform block diagram, schematic, parts placement, and PCB routing reviews on customer platforms, including DDR, Power Delivery Network, and Signal Integrity simulations.
- Contribute to customer facing reference designs.
- Create and maintain world-class hardware documentation and design collaterals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years Hardware Design or Hardware Applications experience or related work experience.
- Functional safety (ISO26262) experience is a plus
