Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading complex infrastructure projects and teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, enterprise-grade hardware, and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops a team of IT staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure the effective delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and disaster recovery systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and adherence to cloud security best practices.
- Develop and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with leadership regarding IT inquiries, operational impacts, and departmental priorities.
- Direct and manage infrastructure and IT projects from inception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with IT strategies, policies, procedures, and industry standards to optimize efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Monitor and evaluate IT performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of IT services and processes.
- Foster an inclusive team environment, building trust, role clarity, and empowering innovation.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
