Solutions Engineer

5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies.
Strong knowledge of both on-premise compute and virtualisation platforms and leading public cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and related tools such as GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in supporting real customers in a production support environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
Passion for customer success and delivering high-quality solutions.

Serve as a technical liaison between platform architecture, network architecture, platform engineering, and internal customers (product development teams) to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.
Assist customers in integrating with SIE’s Kubernetes platform, ensuring best practices and operational excellence, including co-ordination of Proof of Concept and Test environments.
Provide guidance on on-premise and public cloud infrastructure, including best-fit solutions for scalability, security, and reliability.
Work closely with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies, leveraging Kubernetes and other cloud-native tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve platform capabilities and optimize integration processes based on customer feedback.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and training materials for customers and internal teams.
Support troubleshooting efforts and work proactively to resolve integration challenges.
Advocate for customer needs, driving continuous improvements to SIE’s platform infrastructure.
